Protein Pancakes, Greek Yogurt & Tea Latte

Quick 'n' Easy High Protein Lunch Recipe

Sometimes when I don't know what to eat, I combine mini meals, that when added together make a decent meal. Yesterday for lunch (after my cardio workout) I put together a high protein, moderate carb post workout lunch/meal.





Protein Pancakes, Greek yogurt & Tea Meal

Nutritional Value:

Calories: 415 | Net Carbs: 33g (Fiber: 10.5g | Sugar: 12.5g) | Fats: 11g | Protein: 37.5g



Ingredients with Nutritional Info:

  • Pancakes:

    • Flourish Plant-Based Protein Pancake Mix, Original (0.33 cup or 53g)

      • Cal: 180

      • C: 22g (Fiber: 9g | Sugar: 4g)

      • F: 1.5g

      • P: 11g

    • Nut & Seed Butter (1 tsp or 7.5g)

      • Cal: 45

      • C: 1.5g (Fiber: 0.5g | Sugar: 0.5g)

      • F: 3.5g

      • P: 1.5g

    • Smucker's no sugar added Strawberry Spread (1 tsp)

      • Cal: 10

      • C: 2.5g (Fiber: 0g | Sugar: 2g)

      • F: 0g

      • P: 0.1g

  • Greek Yogurt:

    • Oikos Lactose Free Yogurt

      • Cal: 90

      • C: 6g (Fiber: 0g | Sugar: 6g)

      • F: 0g

      • P: 17g

    • Sinfit Syrup (any flavour) (2 tbsp or to taste)

      • Cal: 0

      • C: 0g

      • F: 0g

      • P: 0g

  • Tea:

    • Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Cashew Milk

      • Cal: 90

      • C: 1g (Fiber: 1g | Sugar: 5g)

      • F: 6g

      • P: 8g

    • Tim Horton's Steep Tea Keurig Pod

      • Cal: 0

      • C: 0g

      • F: 0g

      • P: 0g

    • Sweetener (Stevia & Monk-fruit Packets

      • Cal: 0

      • C: 0g

Instructions:

  1. Pancakes:

    1. Mix Pancake mix with water for desired consistency (read directions on package)

    2. Cook pancake mix in a pan on stove.

    3. Spread Nut & seed butter and strawberry spread on pancakes

  2. Greek Yogurt

    1. Scoop yogurt into a bowl.

    2. Pour SinFit Syrup and mix

  3. Steep Tea Latte

    1. Make Steep Tea in Keurig as per Keurig instructions (Black & Sugar Free)

    2. Pour Almond Cashew milk into a separate microwave safe mug and warm for 60 seconds (full power / level 10), stir and put it back in for 60 seconds level 8 power.

    3. Mix the steep tea and the warm/hot milk together, stir and add the sweetener (stevia/monk-fruit)
