Protein Drink Recipes


Hopefully if you've stumbled across this page it is because, like me, you are looking for ways to up your protein shake game. Below you will find are a mix of Protein Shake recipes to:

  1. Keep it exciting for your tastebuds while getting the protein intake you need for those hardcore workout days

  2. Ways to make your favourite treats with healthy alternatives for an everyday indulgence; lattes, hot chocolate, ice coffees, etc

The FunShakes

In this section you will find recipes that I typically use when looking to have a meal replacement shake or something calorically dense to help recover from a tough workout

Chunky Monkey

Ingredients:

- 1 Scoop chocolate protein powder

- 1/2 Banana

- 1 Cup milk of choice (Dairy, Almond, Oat, Soy)

- 1 tbsp Cocoa Powder

- 1 tbsp Nut butter of choice (Peanut or Almond)

- A splash of vanilla calorie free syrup

- Add water for desired consistency


Directions: Mix together and blend

Oreoat Shake

Ingredients:

- 1 Scoop cookies & cream or vanilla protein powder

- 4 oreo thins (2 ground & 2 crumbled)

- 1 Cup Oat Milk

- 2oz Vanilla Greek Yogurt

- A splash of vanilla calorie free syrup

- Add water for desired consistency


Directions: Mix together and blend, sprinkle 2 crumbled oreo cookies on top

Fruit

Ingredients:

- 1 Scoop vanilla protein powder

- 1 Scoop Vegetable Greens Powder

- 1/2 cup frozen or fresh fruits of choice (mixed berry, strawberry banana, etc)

- 1 Cup milk of choice (Dairy, Almond, Oat, Soy)

- 1 tbsp Vanilla Greek Yogurt

- 2 tbsp strawberry, raspberry or blueberry sugar free/calorie free syrup

- Add water for desired consistency

Directions: Mix together and blend

Hot Drinks

This section contains recipes of protein shakes that I created to substitute for my regular daily coffee/latte

Vanilla Latte Protein Shake

Ingredients:

- 1 Cup milk of choice (Dairy, Almond, Oat, Soy)

- 2-3oz Cold coffee

- 1 Scoop Vanilla Protein powder

- Add water for desired consistency

Directions: Mix ingredients together and blend. Warm up the mix to desired temperature.

Hot Chocolate Protein Shake

Ingredients:

- 1 Cup milk of choice (Dairy, Almond, Oat, Soy)

- 1 Scoop Chocolate Protein powder

- Add water for desired consistency


Directions: Mix ingredients together and blend. Warm up the mix to desired temperature.

Cafe Mocha Latte

Ingredients:

- 1 Cup milk of choice (Dairy, Almond, Oat, Soy)

- 2-3oz Cold coffee

- 1 Scoop Chocolate Protein powder

- Add water for desired consistency


Directions: Mix ingredients together and blend. Warm up the mix to desired temperature.


Cold Drinks

This section contains recipes of protein shakes that I created to substitute for my regular iced coffee/lattes


Iced Latte

Ingredients:

- 1/2 Cup milk of choice (Dairy, Almond, Oat, Soy) (optional)

- 1/2 Cup Cold coffee

- 1 Scoop Vanilla Protein powder

- Add water for desired consistency


Directions: Mix ingredients together and blend.

Iced Coffee

Ingredients:

- 1/2 Cup Cold coffee

- 1 Scoop Vanilla Protein powder

- Add water for desired consistency

Directions: Mix ingredients together and blend.
